In short
- We ask for your email to tell you when PerpHunters launches. That is the only thing we send.
- Two optional questions help us decide which platforms and incentives to cover.
- We don't sell your data, and we don't use advertising trackers.

What we collect

We don't ask for your name, wallet address or trading account. Don't send us that information.
Technical data
When you visit the site, some data is processed so that the site works and stays safe:
- Bot check. When you sign up, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that you are not a bot. It uses signals from your browser and your IP address. We don't receive or store these signals.
- Hosting. Cloudflare hosts the site and processes your IP address to deliver the page and block attacks.
- Fonts. The page loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address.
- Usage analytics. We use PostHog to see how people use the site: which parts they view and click, and where sign-up fails. This includes your browser, device type, approximate location from your IP address, and the page that sent you. When you join the list, we link these events to your email, and we add your answers.
We don't record your screen.
Ad measurement. We use the X (Twitter) Pixel to measure our ads on X: X learns that a visitor came from an ad and joined the list. It uses cookies, so it follows the same cookie rules as analytics (below). When you join the list and these rules allow it, our server also tells X about the sign-up. It sends a one-way hashed (SHA-256) copy of your email address, your IP address and browser details, and the X click ID from the ad link. X uses these only to match the sign-up to an ad. We never send your email address in plain text.
Cookies
PostHog can set a first-party cookie, so we can tell a returning visitor from a new one. It is not used on other sites. The X Pixel sets cookies to measure our ads on X. When you arrive from an ad on X, we also keep the ad's click ID in your browser's local storage for 30 days, so a later sign-up counts for that ad. We delete it if you decline.
- In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, we ask first. Until you accept, and if you decline, PostHog counts your visit without cookies or browser storage: it uses a daily, anonymous code made from your IP address and browser details.
- In those regions, the X Pixel runs only after you accept.
- Everywhere else, these cookies are on by default. You can decline at any time.
We store your choice in your browser's local storage. To change it, use at the bottom of any page. A new choice applies from your next page view.
Legal basis
We process your email and answers because you give us your consent when you join the list. You can withdraw your consent at any time: use the unsubscribe link in any email, or email us.
We process technical data and cookieless usage analytics because we have a legitimate interest in running a site that works, is safe, and that we can improve. In the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland, we use analytics and ad-measurement cookies only with your consent.
Who receives your data
We don't sell or rent your data. These service providers process it for us, and only to provide their service:
- Cloudflare: hosting, the sign-up database, the bot check and email forwarding.
- Loops: our email list and the emails we send. Loops can record if an email is opened or a link is clicked.
- PostHog: usage analytics, stored in the EU.
- X (Twitter): ad measurement with the X Pixel and the X Conversions API, when cookies are allowed.
- Google: web fonts.
These providers can process data outside your country, including in the United States. They use safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for these transfers.
How long we keep it
We keep your email and answers until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. When you unsubscribe, we stop all emails. When you ask for deletion, we delete your data from our database and from Loops.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- give you a copy of the data we hold about you,
- correct your data,
- delete your data,
- stop processing your data.
Email [email protected] from the address you signed up with. We reply within 30 days. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
Age
PerpHunters is for adults. Don't join the list if you are under 18.
Changes to this notice
If we change this notice, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use your email, we tell you by email before it applies.
